WHO WE ARE
Crystal Palmer
Crystal Palmer is an accomplished political media executive with more than 20 years of experience directing the Office of Motion Picture and Television Development in Washington, DC. In that role, Ms. Palmer worked tirelessly with state, federal and foreign government officials and major media executives to turn a fledgling film production business into a multimillion-dollar economic powerhouse for the District. Ms. Palmer honed her considerable political acumen to adroitly coordinate both the egos and agendas of A-list celebrities and politicians in one of the most challenging security environments in the world. Her creative instincts and behind-the-scenes knowledge of how Washington operates ensure that each goal is achieved and every political message is delivered to maximum advantage.
Ms. Palmer has produced a number of short films, political spots, documentaries and content for the Internet. She has collaborated on productions, both in-studio and on-location, and has written scripts, prepared storyboards and managed production details. Ms. Palmer is currently delivering freelance production for a variety of media, political and entertainment interests.
Carol Flaisher
Carol Flaisher is DC’s veteran Location Manager, Production Supervisor and Producer. A native Washingtonian, she has been a part of Washington’s movie making community for more than 30 years. When Hollywood calls, Carol is the one who answers. Working on more than 100 television shows and feature films, Carol has acted in many capacities on projects such as Philomena, SALT, Wedding Crashers, National Treasure (I and II), State of Play, True Lies, Jackie, Snowden, Sloan and, for television, Too Big to Fail, Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight, The Amazing Race and House of Cards. Between the red tape and the serious location restrictions, for films to come alive in Washington, it takes someone like Carol to take the lead. Her contributions to film production in Washington, DC were honored with a WIFV Woman of Vision Award.
